Though you guys would like to see the frame rust on my 91'. Besides this one spot everything else is solid, minus some minor pitting. Still on the look for a new frame. If i can't find one this one is getting fixed.

Is now lol. Anyway i just put a ad on craigslist and got a response instantly. i'm getting a 60k 90' f350 frame. off a farm truck with little to no road time. $400, and the guy is gonna bring it here for me. Gonna post pictures on here of the new one when i get them emailed.

Hello! Ya Jim its really good news. Got a message within an hour of the ad. I'm surprised i even found anything. Sounds like its in really good shape. Can't wait to have a working and solid truck. I see you have 87' f250. Hows that 460 with the gas with that t19?

@Jim ZF5 is pretty nice. Big improvement over the t 18 in the 83'. Much smoother to engage gears and it auto centers unlike the t 18. Allso get the overdrive for the highway. Hop you can get a clutch for that thing. I can only imagine how bad the gas mileage is.

Aaron, I don't really know for sure.
I do know the splines aren't the same as my T-19 and my flywheel isn't drilled for the larger (12") clutch called for the ZF.
Maybe someone else knows.

Ever since I installed a new carb (600cfm Holley) hoping to cure the 4180 blues, mileage has dropped 20% from my already pathetic 7-8 mpg.
....It's expensive.
