Saw an old crewcab for sale in Windsor Locks if anyone's interested it's a '78-'79 lifted with a 460. Not in great shape but it could be a fun project, I didn't see a price.

Hello everyone.I just finished the 25 page employment package for this job in Afghanistan.
It gets faxed out tomorrow.
I sent an email today to the recruiter informing him that I had compiled everything and to confirm the snail mail address.
He seemed eager to get me on board.
So if they are still interested in me (read that as desperate) then I figure I'll hear back soon and could be gone in a week's time as soon as the background checks clear.
Since aviation is DOT drug restricted I would expect to have to tender a specimen before I leave, and that could easily happen next week too.
Ya - I'm counting my chickens before they hatch and I don't even know what the going rate is over there, but it feels good to think positive for once.
The rest I'll deal with as I go.

that sucks. alix's law school loans are on a graduated payment, so they get bigger as time goes on. cant complain because we set it up that way.
try calling them and bargaining for your old payment schedule. often they will work with you if you threaten to not pay at all.

I actually got it down to 500...they wanted me to pay higher. I asked them if they figured I would survive on bread and water. The guys response was...breads not so bad with some miracle whip
