I sent an email to my old boss, saying that in the event anyone of the new team should decide to leave then maybe have a 'recall.'
The wording of his reply email suggests that someone already bowed out and that the original decision on the crew wasn't his to make and that he'd pass along my request.
Also another local job that I applied for has been re-posted, so I applied for it again.
Like competitive sports, you have to be comfortable with loosing more often than winning.
On a similar vein, one can win because the favorite faults.
With both jobs I mentioned here, I'm hoping that the southwestern Connecticut cost of living is working in my favor.
Hey, I was driving a '79 f150 before I wised up and traded up. I wouldn't trade the new truck for anything now.
(Which reminds me that I need to check and see if the shocks I bought for the '79 will fit yours)
Good! I like your truck. It's nice to be able to sit 4 people comfortably and be able to spend time sitting next to a pretty girl without having to worry about driving yet still be in a 7.3 Superduty. I wouldn't want to deal with the crew cab all the time but it's nice to ride in the back of...
As we discussed you need a 7.3 Superduty. And not one of the hoity-toity ones Aaron is looking at. They can be found far cheaper with a few scratches and dings on them but who cares? It'll be a work truck.
hoity-toity? W T F ?! i just dont want to pay to trade DOWN from what i have now.
if anyone is looking to trade up and is tight on cash i would seriously look into gas jobs. i know a lot of people running them and they get the job done and are cheap to fix should they break.
Just finished washing the truck. Wish there was enough light out to see how bad my night time chamois job went. Guess it will have to wait for morning.
Does the 87 have a/c? That would be a huge advantage.
My '87 doesn't. It was ordered as a basic 'Custom' work truck.
But it has the A/C heater core.
Go figure.
I think that's part of the extra cooling that comes with the towing package.
