Well, i had a moment of dyslexia there, my Firing order is 15426378.
Which what i could find on the web, these are the engines with that firing order. What kind of differences in the engine can i look for to tell them apart without tearing into it?
302, 352, 360, 390, 406, 427, 428, 429, 460, 514

The FE series engines in your list are 352,360,390,406,427,428. An FE/FT engine has the intake manifold go up under the valve cover. On each head the front two spark plugs point to the rear, the two rear plugs point forward. On the exhaust manifolds, there are eight bolts on each side and they are in vertical pairs.

Some say FE means Ford Engine others say Ford/Edsel, haven't heard Ford Engineering before though.

i just noticed something while trying to find out what i had, on all the fe
engines ive seen through google, all of the oil filters mounted vertically to the engine. On mine, it mounts horizontally straight to the block. Jus like the 406 i saw through google images, i think its what i have.

After 30+ years of parts swapping it's very common to find the vertical filter on trucks. The 406 was never factory installed in trucks.

In early '73 (Feb. I believe) Ford switched from the metal engine ID tag that was bolted under the coil to a paper decal that was attached to one of the valve covers (this isn't the emission cert. decal, it's different).

From what Bill (NumberDummy) said in another post (ex-u-haul) it looks like you have a 330MD, that's if the original engine is still in place.

There have been around 5 or 6 documented F130 trucks that have been posted here on FTE. Only one provided pictures so far.
Definately a unique truck. Does yours have the 8 lug wheels? The general consensus so far is it is a weird version of a "Heavy Half Ton" truck.
