F-140 Truck??
I have a truck that according to the Plate and Vin is an F-140 Truck. I personally have never heard of one, and have been told they made a few of them before picking up the 150 line. Does anyone know anything about this model?
Thanks:
Ed

Standard Cab VIN F14HNDC3194 Unless I have something copied wrong. Ford web site does not recognize this number, I need to recheck it.

It's the elusive F-130 that confuses the crap out of everyone. I think we have had around 4 confirmed F-130 mutants on here.
Basically an F100 with F250 chassis components (8 lugs)

Are you saying that the VIN number belongs to the truck you posted? If so why does it have references to F-140?
Thanks

Seriously though....F14 is the prefix for an F-150 4x4. An F-250 4x4 is an F26, F-350 4x4 F36..... etc.

Here is the info for F14.....
The so called F130 would have a VIn starting with F13. No code is listed, but they do exist. I have a VIN plate that confirms it. I just don't have the truck.
Here is the thread that talks about it

Here is another one...
Like I said it seems to be an F100 frame with an F250 suspension... 8 lug wheels and a GVW between the F100 and F250.
If I remember right I think 3 of the trucks were that garish National Park Service green and one was a DOT style orange.

The door I pulled mine off of was a White and Red door. Not that it means anything though.

Didn't the very first truck that appeared on here actually have an F-130 emblem on the cowl or fender?
I do remember the truck had a San Jose DSO so it wasn't a foreign truck.
