Trying to get the large input (valve?) off that comes in from the driver's side. At a standstill, need to go in to town tomorrow and get an extra large crescent wrench. Other then that, its ready to come off.
That would be the IPR valve, by what you describe.
I think that's it.
If you can't tell, I am clueless on diesel engines, but I can turn a wrench, follow directions, and buy tools to get the job done (<-- the fun part). This has been a bit frustrating at times with the directions provided in the kit, but all in all it's only a PITA because of the time it takes, not the difficulty.
So if I ask stupid question and you are thinking to yourself "This guy is clueless" that's mainly why -- I know nothing about this truck, but am learning as I go.
I just pray each night I can get it all back together... "installation is reverse of removal" (I HOPE it's that simple).

I'm sorry, but there are no stupid questions. EVERYONE had to learn about this engine from someone. If you need to know ASK. I ask "stupid" questions all the time because even though I may "know" I want to make sure as I can't afford to make a mistake. Measure at least twice, cut once I always say.
