Just calculating cents per mile for oil changes @ $60 for diesels and 25 for v10's, (@ 5000 miles OCI) the difference is $.007 cents per mile..... That is not making up for the difference in the fuel mileages and cost of fuels that I'm seeing.

I have been tracking everything on my V10 Ex for some time, and my spreadsheet shows I'm at an average of 24.63 cents per mile. For most of this year so far, I haven't exceeded 30 cents and the lowest has been 17 cents. It's hovered around 20 most of the time.
Since I'm not adding data to the results, I don't want to take up a lot of space, but I just wanted to let y'all know that what I'm seeing over 22,644.2 miles is pretty consistent with what you guys have found so far.

I know this is supposed to be a Ford V10 vs Ford PSD kinda thing, but it looks to me like we have a real reliable bunch of Ford trucks either way. Anyway, my boss is a Chevy guy and has lately had a real rash of bad luck with his GM truck. It's gobbled up three A/C pumps in the past 700 miles and even though the truck is an '06 with only 31K miles on it, GM refuses to pay for them. They are NOT cheap either. Now his truck has a "check engine" light on it that he's fighting with. That was pretty much my experience with Chevy trucks, which is why I am very happy with my Ford.
Sorry I don't have my fuel mileage or miles driven becuase of this.
I'm going to try and fix it in the morning and then I will start keeping track again.
Behind the times here for this. Been working on a new run-in for the horses and spending time with my new Hornady LNL AP.
Previous mileage - 127,952
Current mileage - 128,767
Miles traveled - 815
I lost a receipt somewhere as I have only been putting in approx 10 gallons at a time since I don't drive it as much. I will be making 5 hour trip to the other side of the state in two weeks so I will have an accurate MPG update.
Finally decided on what new tires to get:
265/75/16 Firestone Transforce AT's- $761.79 installed
Alignment - $65
