Finally got to sit down and figure the numbers for 2010 on the truck.
60,152 miles driven
Gas $15,524.30
Gal 5,988.05
25 cents a mile
10.04 average MPG (I wish I would of recorded the towing miles better and couldn't tell, will keep better record this year.)
$2.59 average a gallon
$??? Who knows how many cold ones while working on the truck.
Maybe this will help someone Figuring the cost for them to run their truck and make an educated decision on which platform(gas/dsl) works better for them.
I know that one trip does not make the milage. I pulled RV trailers for King of the Road for 2 years. With a Dodge V-10. COST OF FUEL WAS MAKE OR BRAKE.
Do you know anything about these -- TUNER, 5STAR TUNER , BULLDOG TUNER
that I am reading about.
Assume that one must be out of warranty before trying anything like these.
Is there a way around this?
Do they do that much good.
I do not care about
MORE PULLING POWER
GO FAST SPEED
Just better fuel milage.

Is there a post that list which truck is the cheapest to maintain down to the most expensive? I was scrolling thru it pretty fast so I may of missed it. If not Ill go back and make a list for myself since Im debating if I want a v10 or ps.
