Well im the proud new owner of a XLT F-250 6.4 Diesel Truck
Congratulations on the new ride. You are riding in style now! Women will cast longingful looks as you pass by. Their men will just lower their gaze and stare at their brown shoes.
I've only read the first post, but given the distance that you drive to work, the weight you're towing, and to give yourself room to grow; I'd go with a V10 powered Super Duty. A V10 can safely tow up to 12K conventional, more with a gooseneck, and will suit your needs just fine.
If you were like me and drove 70 miles both ways to work, a diesel would fit the bill.
a v10 may pull harder than a PSD empty and stock, but put a chip on the PSD and a 14,000 lb trailer behind both and see who is pulling then
wow! you still have to mod it even though it costs $6K to $8K more for the optionnot to mention the fact that it has more torque right out of the box, upwards of 150lb/ft and more, depending on the smoker. that is funny! keep up that logic, it makes for an entertaining read.
Hey guy well took my first long trip this weekend about four hrs averaging 17 mpg at 65-70 and at 80 getting 20 LOLOL i posted pics of it in my album so far i love it!
