E4od leaks out front when towing
I've got a 1996 F150 that leaks out the front seal if I pull my camper on a long trip. If I drive without pulling the camper it does just fine . I have 70,000 miles on this truck. I was thinking the transmission is getting hot but wouldn't it blow out the breather also?? I was thinking of replacing the cooler with a bigger one. I work at Jasper Engines so I get a good deal on Hayden coolers. Should I think about replacing the radiator also?

I would check it for trouble codes before installing an additional cooler, if you have a factory tow package the cooler it came with will probably be better than aftermarket anyway. It sounds like the front seal is bad, when towing line pressure is higher and can cause leaks even if the tranny doesn't overheat. You'll need a front seal replaced no matter what along with the pump gasket. Nothing major usually, just bad seals.
