So far I haven't done too much with the fence. Emailed pics to the neighbor, inviting him to pay for the materials since it is technically his fence. I said I'd pay for the labor. Meaning that I'll hire a helper and do it myself. Also I arranged for another neighbor to pick up the old wood. He burns anything in his wood stove so he's glad to get it. So that saves me from having to order a dumpster of haul it off to the dump.
So now I'm having a coffee in preparation to do some more demo.
The wood fence that met it's demise last night has been through it before. And it was pretty sorry. It's on a side of the house where I don't have to look at it or I might have redone it twenty years ago.
I'll see what the neighbor has to say about it. Seeing as how his place is a rental I expect him to want to go the cheapest way. We'll soon see.
Geez, the wife has been griping about the wind and breeze here for 2 weeks. Finally get a day with no wind and when I come in this afternoon she has every fan in the house on FULL blast. Felt like a hurricane, go figure.
