Good afternoon Everyone. Michelle we were thinking of coming to Yerington on Saturday. But I want to go to were there is some warmth so I doubt we will show up in Yerington. Today is the coldest day since this storm started so I have a feeling that Reno weather is just advertising warmth to not discourage the tourists. That is an old practice that gets used in both Reno & Las Vegas. If any of you in Las Vegas in the summer ever notice the official HIGH Temp is the coolest place in the valley as a rule. It can be 104 on the west side & 115 in Henderson.
Well it is official. We are headed to Death Valley for a few days of warm weather. It is suppose to be in the mid 80s in Pahrump so 90s in Death Valley.
So later everyone. See you after it warmers up here, if it does.
I agree Jeff well put.
We just returned from WARMTH. It was 100 degrees in Death Valley today. Everywhere I walked yesterday water ran out my toes. I finally got all the ice out of my body.
We are headed to Laughlin in two weeks with my brother & his wife.
I LIKE WARMTH.
Thank you Russ and Craig. I have always been patriotic but was given a new meaning after joining the Army. After having seen first hand the training and preparation our troops go through as well as the nervous anticipation that their families go through when there is a rumor of a troop deployment has given me a new meaning.
I also want to give a shout out to the families of our soldiers as well. Without their support it would be a lot harder for our troops.
Thanks to all our servicemen & women for your service. I try to always thank our service people year around. I have been known to see several service personnel in public places & walk up & thank them for there service & WELCOME HOME TO ALL WHO HAVE SERVED OVERSEAS.
The best thing anyone can say to a Vietnam Vet is WELCOME HOME. Because their welcome home in many cases was not good back in the day. The service people today can thank the VIETNAM VETS for opening the eyes of the brass & changing so many things for the better. One is the VA. I'm not a veteran but lived with a friend for two year upon his return from two tours in VIETNAM, so I understand a little of what our troops go through. I got to share in some of the horrors he when through in war.
So Again THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE & ARE SERVING.
