Here is a pic of it. Clay used to have this on his site along with two other pics. Kit comes with the dash, switch plate, and can be color matched as well as allow 6 or nine Carling switches (also sold through Clay at RiffRaff).
Got my dash today in the mail! sweet!! thank you Ed!!!! already cut 3 holes for gauges, need to make a plate to go over the switch hole to make a spot for 3 more gauges! then i will be set! have to paint when get all complete also, might put some standard lighted toggle on it too.
No, unfortunately the F-650 still uses the pre-2008 dash. As far as an aftermarket pod though, I will have to look into that one for you. I don't see why we can't make something up for you 2008+ guys.

Oh yeah that would explain it, I didnt even realize the 650 was still using the same dash duh
I liked the guage pods on the pillar but in my truck the driver side grab handle there and I do like that too. I wouldnt be completely opposed to removing the handle though if that works out to be the best option. If I could get some really smallish guages I'd not mind em right ontop the dash right infront the wheel but they would have to be small and in an enclosed pod. I havent put a lot of research into it though, but if you happen to know of different guage pods for the new ones let me know.
I'm still toying with the idea of trying to redo some of the dash myself.... I love the newer style but some of the accessories are really a waste of space. I've got 2 panels that have 1 12V plug in each. Why not have two plugs in one and leave the other panel free for soemthing else. I also have a panel with just an MP3 port in it. All this could really be consolidated better, and I wish they had covers for these like how in my F150 if your not using the power plugs a cover slides over them so it looks a lot neater.
Lol, could be worse. The new Beetles have a flower pot holder. For the longest time I thought it was a tampon holder, but nope.
As for the pillar pods, you might want to check out Speed of Sound LLC. They might have some individual pods that will bolt to the OEM cover, thus allowing you to keep the grab-a-ma-jiggie.
Also, you can look into a windshield mount. This is the route that I chose for four of my gauges (well, three and one forever lost in shipping ). Here is a pic of mine.
