I want to see your scratch build running boards or orignal running boards that you have modified. Tell why you built your own, how you did and or what modifications you made to them
Pictures below are not mine...just an example
Chad, love the look and the wheels. Did you cut some of the lower fenders too? I was thinking of doing this to cut out some of the bondo from the PO, and keep them from scraping because I'm low to the ground. Thanks, L8R ZFLASH

i did not cut my fenders no. My Ride height right now to the bottom of my running boards is 6". I might raise it a bit tho.

Those are pictures of my truck. I decided that the ribbed running boards didn't go with the type build I was doing so I built my own. Not sure where you got the pictures since I have found that photos of my truck are all over the web on different sites. My complete build is found on the Garage Journal website in the fabrication section. Since my truck is very lacking in Ford pedigree I posted there for less flack.
I had bought 2 sheet of steel to build my truck bed and found that I had enough steel to build my tailgate and the running boards and I still have some metal left over.

I Got them off your garage journal build. Your build has been a big source of inspiration for me. It's the main reason I decided to build my own bed for my truck.
