go ahead and get the next step up from what you were originally thinking.
We boutght what we wanted for our first camper.....two years later we bought what we needed. The second one is much bigger with a ton more storage. Storage spcae goes quickly....especially if you are gonna full time it.

There's one more reason not to get a FEMA trailer. ALL the storage availible is inside the trailer. So, sewer hose and crap like that has to go in a bin in the back of the truck or something. And that bin is easy to forget in the garage.
decent price, looks good, looks like it could use a detail tho. good way to talk them down on the price, try to find every and anything you can wrong with it and point it out to the salesman. and how much its going to cost you to fix it...
That looks OK.
My first trailer was a '91 Terry Resort and I liked it a lot.
It had the exact same kitchen layout that one has there except the door was where the fridge is on yours and my fridge was in the opposite wall.
The oven on that one there has been well used.
Overall it looks like it has a fairly decent amount of cupboard, closet, and storage space. Skimp on that and you will regret it.
What sold us on our 36' was how much more storage it had compared to just a couple of feet shorter. Cupboards everywhere.
You might have some tail wagging going on with those little axles.
When I bought my trailer, the 6000 lb axles were at the limit of thier load and it didn't handle bumps in the road very well at all and they bent under the load.
Ruined the tires in 10,000 miles.
Had to buy new 8000 lb axles and that made all the difference in the world.
Trailer just glides along behind me now without any bobbing at all.
Also, I'm not a big fan of breaking up the bathroom and putting the sink right next to the dresser like that.
But that is purely a personal preference.
And another thought:
That Terry is a good consideration because you don't have to put the slide out just to gain access to the bathroom.
You'll have to squeeze your way around the kitchen counter, but if you are not a fat-a**, so what.
it says fridge is large....i think they come with either a 6 or 8 cf fridge. the bigger one is def. a plus. more room for beer
edit:
in the pic of the pantry it looks like something was either spilled or there could be a leak.....just make a note to check it out if you go look at it.
other wise it looks like it might fit your needs well. good storage (closet and drawers) in bedroom, the box on the back is a nice addition, you'll like the ducted AC better...we did.
If you look hard enough and are willing to spend some time giving some TLC, you can usually find pretty good deals.
Me and my fiancee were looking to possibly buy a 5ver for the honeymoon in June, just to do something different and spend a couple weeks travelling.
We looked all over the tri state area online, even traveled several hours looking at trailers. However, we found one on a lot close to home that had been somewhat neglected by the PO. It needed a lot of TLC and cleaning.
They were asking 8500 for it on there lot and it had not been tested for anything, etc. I offered them $1500 as it sat and they countered back at $2400.
Considering the book value, we felt like we got a steal. Everything ended up working, A/c, fridge, heater, etc. And it was even a Travel Supreme!
Anyways, sorry for the long story trying to make a point. It just seemed to me you were looking for something on a budget, and a deal migh tbe able to be found. I would suggest at least one slide too. They make a big difference. Make sure it has plenty of storage if you will be living out of it for periods at a time.
Thanks. Its older, its a 92 but we love it. It has new tan carpet and we re did the curtains and such so its not the awesome smurf blue color that came from the factory. We did a camo theme inside. Maybe I can dig up some pictures of that.
It was slightly longer than we were looking for, at 36 feet, but its nice to have the room. That pic was last weekend on our first trip out. Even the dog came, you can see him hanging over the side of the bed.
