foil delete

foil delete

can you leave the ic pipe on when you do the foil delete? and is there a noticeable difference in the cab with the foil removed?

Not a chance. It has to be pulled.

Nope. But it's easy to pull and it's a good time to check your boots too.

Yea there is no way you can leave it in plus it isnt hard at all to pull it out. I can here it alot more now that i have done mine.

I pulled the foil off mine this last winter, I haven't cleaned the adhesive off yet, what did you guy's use to get it cleaned up? Seems like what ever they use could hold elephants over the grand canyon LOL.

i used a wire brush on a drill then used starter fueled, just spared it on then wiped off.

A good strong paint stripper from Home Depot did the trick for me.

I used some gasket remover that I had lying around and a plastic trawl. It did the trick for me.

I removed mine outside on the porch steps (plenty of ventilation) with a wire brush and a can of gasoline. Gas will take it right off.

I used lacquer thinner and took all of 5 minutes to get off 90%. The other 10% to another 30 minutes...
