Has anyone installed a Skyjacker Dual Steering Stabilizer?
I purchased this steering stabilizer for my 2000 V10, but the driver's side shock on the stabilizer won't fit. There is a "clamp" around the tie rod that is right where the driver's side stabilizer shock is supposed to pass the tie rod. The shock is supposed to mount to the middle support bracket and the bracket that attaches to the ubolts (both brackets provided by Skyjacker), but it won't fit because of this "clamp".
Has anyone experienced this problem and know how to mount the shock?
I called Skyjacker and sent them pictures, but the gentleman I talked to said he had never seen that "clamp" on a tie rod before.
My X came with the stabilizer, but I don't remember a clamp anywhere. I'm on the road working and will not be home for another week and half. But I'll look once I get come home if need be.
I purchased the dual stabilzer when I purchased new springs (Pro Comp 22210 and 22415) for a 4" lift. I'm also planning to upgrade to 35" tires, so I wanted to upgrade the steering stabilizer.
The steering feels tighter and the Ex has less "wandering".
The combination of the new springs, new Rancho RS9000XL's and the dual steering stabilizer has made the Ex much more comfortable and fun to drive.

That is awesome. You have done exactly where I want to go. Just have to find the time and cash. Post some pics.
