I remember my trade school days in Phonix, Ariz., monsoon season, 100* heat and daily down pours. Humidity so high that the swamp coolers would'nt cool and the walls of our cinder block house ran water
No chance to stay. They want us out as soon as possible so their contractor can get started on the $150,000 remodel. I start wheat harvest about the 15th-18th of this month and will be working 72+ hours a week till the middle of August.
Another friend of mine (and a customer) has a place for me to move to, but it's waaaay out in the boonies. The nice thing about this new place though is it has a 70'X70' shop! The last time I moved it took a week to move the household stuff and 8 WEEKS to move my stuff..............

Sounds like the GTG should get back burnered .........priorities. Nice going on the new owners, not much consideration for you.
The GTG WILL go on!!! I will not let this change anything. I'll move on MY time! If they don't like it they can KMA........
I have Lot's of good friends that will help. I have semi's, lowboys, trucks and tractors to move with. Much as I hate the though of moving again, the new place is so much better than this place that I'm willing to do it.
I have no animosity toward the owners that have let me stay here. They had no plans to sell the place, but the offer was to good to pass up. The new people will fail. There is NO WAY they can make this place pay off a 2.5 million dollar investment.
No more man cave......But the steel building/shop is 70' by 170'! The main shop is 70X70 with an extra 70X 100 attached and closed on 3 sides. The main shop door is 30'wide by 20'high. The house is more modern (early 60's) all on one floor (momma won't have to climb stairs...) and the view is incredible.......
Anybody that would help me move is crazy...........lol
Don, we got our notice to vacate 9 days ago. We have until Aug.1 to be out or the sheriff will be kind enough to help. This is what you get for paying your rent on time and in full. I tore my back up helping our son's girlfriend move a week ago, so I'm less than worthless right now. Whoever let "Murphy" out of his cage needs to be delt with. I'm not whining just comiserating with you. If I could help I'd be there.
We groused about the winter being long, the spring being wet, the summer hot, now we all get to move. I think we need to have our meetings in secret so no one will be able to throw a wrench in the plans. Yes ,I'm sure that will do it. Just imagin a secret society of ....... sshhhs...... "Ford enthusiests". It would be great, secret hand shakes, passwords. maybe a ring or belt buckle, that knowing nod when you encounter another member. OOps, sorry. Laying on my back on the floor for a week looking at the walls. I guess I lost what little sanity I had.
