hey been after gage info here for me '86 F250 and look'n for plug and play into my stock dash if that is an option? any info on what you have done would be great...
Think lots of brass elbows and "T" fittings......Getting the T fittings far enough away from obstructions to be able to tighten is a pain. 86 should have lots of room under the dash for gage mounting, maybe you have room to use a hole saw and mount yours in the dash, not so on a 92-96.
Well just about to the end of a great weekend. I got the truck as ready as I could for the trip to come next weekend. Hope the rest of you guys had a good weekend as well.
Monday, what a start to a week. This morning (2:30am) I was driving up highway 230, which is just above Union Creek, When I came to the bridge work at mile marker 4. Bridge crosses the Rogue River there. They (ODOT) have stop lights at each end of the bridge for single lane across bridge. I came around the corner going North, the light turned green, but alas, Some small group of miscreants had taken every construction barrel, and blockades and totally blocked the road!
And they did a fine job too! It looked very well done. I had to walk on down to the bridge and look to see if the road on the other side was blocked or not. It wasn't, so I went to work resetting all the barrels and blockades. My work wasn't nearly as good as theirs. I know, cause when I returned later this morning, the crew from ODOT had reset all that I had done.
I got to meet another FTE member today, RCrawler from the IDI forum came by my work and loaned me his diesel pulse adapter so I can time my truck. Darn nice guy, only had a few minutes to chat but plan to get to know him better later.
Headed for Diamond lake for the 4th............Big Rainbows, no phones. no computer, no TV......hopefully, no mosquitoes!
Sounds like a good time. The first 4 will be there and enjoyed I'm sure. The last, well, if I were up there, you wouldn't need to worry about them. They would be in my camp!
Hook a big one and enjoy the fire works!
I'll be "urban camping" this weekend. We will be seeing lions, zebras, and all sorts of Animals. (Lion KIng show)

Mosquitoes only go after the wife, but she then makes my life miserable in turn!

Great fireworks show up there! My daughters in laws work up there at the resort and we normally spend the 4th there. Not this year with the daughter in Germany, Son in Law in Iraq... so we are off to the coast for 4th and vacation.
