Sorry I haven't been on here much for the past 24 hours. I've been fighting fires.......Some idiot that was surveying for the wind project drove out in our standing wheat with a gas powered pickup and his cat converter started a wheat fire! We only lost about 30 acres of wheat but the fire burned about 7,000 acres of range-land, and the idiot's pickup......
Last night was the worst though. If it hadn't been for my tanker truck and 3 brush rigs we would have lost my house and all my stuff!!!!
God I hate stupid people!

Back up again..............Just got a call. Fire has started up again, and they want me to go out with my tanker truck and stand-by. This time I'll take my camera........

Just got back after hauling 20,000 gallons of water this afternoon. We're pretty sure we have it OUT, but have the night crew ready, and spotters on all the high ridges for the night. Hopefully I won't get called out again....
One of our brush trucks rolled over, but both guys are ok. Another brush truck broke a driveline and had to be hauled out.
The pickup was a 2009 Chevy.
