Jeez, Don........I handle 2-3 empty, foreclosed places a week over here. And theres nothing over there?
I saw paper work left from a Realtor at one place, 1.5 acres, 1,330 sq. ft 3bdrm/2car garage AND a heated metal shop on slab 40' x 60' shop with 220/110. $181,500
Course you would have to live on the "wetside"..........McKenzie river 1/2 mile away, 40 min to the Cascade summit, and NO neighbors.
This is a small farming community, and there are NO foreclosed homes around here. Since I'm 62 and on a "fixed" income I don't want to go over $100,000.......I'd never live long enough to pay it off. My 32 year old son is a brittle diabetic and needs to live with us. He has a great job here working as assistant mgr at the local NAPA store, and can't afford to give up his job either......
Don that rent is atrocious. If you feel like moving across the river to this side, my family has several rental properties. I'm not certain what we have in terms of shopped properties but I can ask? Rent from what I remember is around 400-500 for a 3br. I laughed when I rented my small studio in Corvallis for 600 a month.
and i bought this place and the mortgage was 1500$ amonth but we did get lowered to just over 500 a month. 189k, this place must be lined with gold or something.
