Sorry to hear that Jack! I got a couple real good friends down here in the same situation... wish I could hire all of them but I am having a hard enough time keeping the crew I got busy.
My son just a got a Merry Christmas present from a someone probably a trucker coming up Hwy 395. He was visiting his sister-in-law and family, their car was parked on the side shoulder of the road and was side swiped and totaled, no witnesses. I was going down tomorow to put a new set of brakes on it. The parts were ordered and paid for yesterday from NAPA, some shipped from Seattle. Now I have to go down and tell them to send them back and refund my money. Still going down, he has two others cars, one needs a axle shaft and the other needs a water pump. Man I think he is part of a country song, "If I didn't have bad luck I would have no luck at all". He lives in New Pinecreek, OR/CA, It's right on the border and people zip right through with out dropping in speed. The one praise to the whole thing is no one was in the car when it was hit. I only hope that the NAPA store will not gouge me for a restock fee and sending the parts back.
