josiah- you need to take a lesson from brian, our resident camera sniper. he is always prepared and gets the shot. those cars are very badass. i want one.
greg, how much money did you make towing tonight???
dave- i thought more about your payload/weight rating dilemma. the dually axles front and rear would be too expensive and hurt fuel efficiency. what you need is a tag axle. you may need to hit up the body shop guy with the sawzall again, to make another wheel well in the fiberglass.
As for the tag axle suggestion makes me and I don't think that a tag axle would unload the front axle, I believe a tag axle only unloads the back axle.
As for cutting in another set of wheel wells, there is the Stinger Hitch and the shimmy must be at interstate highway speeds.
What I have learned so far with regard to increasing the weight capacity, is to:
Upgrade to stronger inner and outer Cs.
Such as from Crane Hi Clearance.
Convert to kingpin, from ball joint, if I can.
Upgrade the manual locking hubs to a unit with independent inner & outer bearings races.
Such as Dynatrac.
