greg- truck is all done, shifting like a race car. i think i may need to send my chip to DP and have the part throttle shift points lowered, because it really SLAMS the gears if im under 1/3 throttle application. i have been driving it in the stock setting so it shifts at an acceptable harshness, then once im up and cruising i kick it into the 80hp setting for passing power. other than that its been smooth sailing so far.
today i changed the rear axle oil and finally (2 years after buying it) installed my '08 finned aluminum diff cover. i also began cutting the big back rack down to fit the cab of the truck. i still think im going to make a custom one out of round tube. i know a guy who has a bender. also, while checking for leaks i found my rear spring hangers are about to rip off the frame. exciting!

I'm still alive. 
We went to the Epcot fireworks last night.
This morning I am taking my older boy and my dad on an air boat rind in the swamp.
I wanted to take the wife also but she is afraid I might want to feed the gators.

those fireworks are INSANE!!! i think they must burn 1000 gallons worth of kerosene for the fireball in the water.
i was very impressed with the ability of that place to "drain" people out when the fireworks are done. a million people are able to exit the park in about 5 minutes, and the traffic on the roads is not bad either.
