lol. yeah. i started on an auto, but i always drove with my right had so id be used to it. and lo and behold, ive been drivin a manual for the last year. in fact, if i try drivin with just my right hand alone... lets just say i dont like it cause i dont feel as in control. lol. my left foot still lifts, and my right hand still reaches too. lol. its somewhat comical. and i much prefer, and dearly miss my foot dimmer...
LOL, I recently got an email asking "Remember when?", and one item it mentioned was floor mounted dimmers. The email came from mom. I called her to ask if she remembered the floor dimmers, and she replied "Kinda", so I laughed and said "I still drive one, HA!"
She got a kick outta that one.....
I've had a couple of newer cars I wired in a floor dimmer as they had it on the stalk, that's how much it bugs me. I hate having to take my eyes off the road to find which lever or button or stalk I have to use to find the stupid thing. I'd rather keep my eyes on the road and kick around with my feet.
I had a Saturn once, everytime I used the shifter the wipers would go on and different speeds depending on the gear. It had a floor mounted shifter and the wiper control is where the column shifter would have been The first time my dad drove it he broke the wiper stalk off because the freakin plastic piece of crap wouldn't go into drive. I was like Dad, look down. That also had the power window switches on the center counsel, so my dad couldn't roll down the windows either. Let's just say he hated that car.
how about someone getting slapped by an otter? or someone getting hit in the face with a fish. or someone waking up with an inflatable sheep and ping pong *****?
Eh, I'm not much for "proffesional" ball players. They get paid way too much money, for playing a game, and too many of them think they can get away with doing stuff that would land the average person in prison.
On the other hand, that young pitcher was totally screwed out of his place in history by that umpire. He actually did something that had only been accomplished 20 times before, and was still in the minor leagues not too long ago. I guess since he didn't have a multi-million dollar contract, he wasn't sposed to capable of throwing a perfect game, so the ump made sure he didn't......
