Carb cleaner is some awesome stuff. Had a dirty connection in the big connector under the hood, under the brake booster, and it was causing my driver side taillight to not work for brake, turn or hazards. Everything else worked fine. I unhooked the connector, cleaned all the contacts with carb cleaner, then put it all back together. Problem solved!

And boy it sure is nice to have a Flowmaster on my truck now. I can actually hear my radio (and my thoughts) at highway speeds. :P

im also a fan of ATF as motor oil, and used motor oil as diesel fuel.

I use brake fluid to keep transmissions from slipping. Type F transmission fluid in the power steering. Black pepper to fix radiator leaks. Rice to clean out carbon.

Adding a qt of ATF to the crankcase will certainly clean things up inside.

Went to the junkyard today....

Found two decent trucks, at least interior-wise. Found a nice split-back velour bench seat out of a Supercab, a nice deluxe gauge cluster (with orange needles!) that includes a tach and trip odometer, some nice door panels (power everything thought) with the cloth inserts AND cloth map pockets, and finally, one of those fancy dome lights with the map lights/reading lights on each side.

I'm hoping to go back next week and get all of that. Maybe that new speedo will help fix the problem I'm having with my speedo reading 10mph slow. Might snag another cable too if they have a C6 out there. It reads a bit over 10K higher than my current speedo's mileage though.

Oh and I found a Jeep J-Series truck too...it was beat all to heck. But hey, all I need is the cab and front clip and I could be well on my way to having my Detroit-powered Jeep military truck lol

Hopefully the truck will still be there,i've had times where I would see a truck one day,and then it would be gone the next day.If I can't get a part that day,I hide it the best I can,and then come back for it later. That doesn't always work though, because my rims and front grille were In-Cab specials that someone hid,but I found and bought.Good luck man.
