Last thursday and friday while returnign home from Grundy Va, I saw someplace near Tazewell Va on the Eastbound side of rt 460 a super super clean F150. It looked like a 2wd but cannot be sure. It was a very brilliant silver and looked like a showroom piece and it was for sale! If I go back that way next week Im stopping in to at least catch some photos of it.

Body style was def in the low/mid 80's

I'd love to have it really, but I just bought the truck I have earlier this year and work is kind of slow this year. Otherwise, yeah I'd be checking it out for sure.

I bought fy 88 f150 only so i would have something to race this year. But as it turned out its a very nice truck. Funny my wife said the other day..."isnt this the nicest truck that youve had". Id had to think about it but she was right. Now instead of selling it at the end of the year i might hang onto it. Dont know. what do you guys think keep it or sell it and make money off of it???

Ok, so nothing at all to do with cars (inclusive), but why is it that some states they will allow a person to drive at 14, but cant get insurance till they are 18?

Yeah, under 18 is still considered a minor, and minors cannot enter into any sort of legal contract, which includes purchasing auto insurance. They also cannot own any type of property, such as a car/truck.
My son was 17 when I bought a truck for him, but it had to be registered in my name.

Times sure have changed, haven't they Festus?
I have been using public roads for powered travel since I was 13. At 14, I actually got a license to do it legally. Granted, it was only for a 125cc max motorcycle until I turned 16, but I truely believe that spending a few years riding the bike (legally and not so legally) made me a much more aware driver. After more than 30 years of driving, the only accident I've ever had, was considered a "Non-preventable" in a commercial truck. The NP is a very rare item, as 90-95% of all accidents are ruled as "Preventable".
