brake conversion
I just picked up my '59 and it has the disc conversion on the front but I believe (have yet to measure) that it is still the 5x5.5" bolt pattern and I am having trouble finding any info out on the set up. Does anyone happen to know what I have or if there is a way I would be able to tell?

You can get the kits with either 5x5.5 and 5x4.5 (or a GM pattern if you prefer) Your PO probably got the 5x5.5 to keep the stock wheels!

When I was checking into it all the kits looked like they came from the same suppliers.
If you have the 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern the rotors should be from a 73-93 F-100/F-150 (or Ford equivalent) and the calipers are from a 71-87 GM ½ Ton Truck (Or GM equivalent) .
A2 Outer Bearings
A13 Inner Bearings
44053 Bearing Seals

I just bought the bracket kit and then went out and bought all the other components from local parts stores and it was not a problem. The only odd thing to be aware of is that every time you replace the rotors you will need to replace the outer bearing race on the new rotors.
