All I can say is that I did it on my 05 and never had any problem.

I'm surprised SP is still on the market after all these years. Thought it was being phased out. It's more expensive than LV though. I bought a bunch of LV years ago in anticipation of doing several drain/fills to change out fluid, but ended up doing the cold flush method when I found out about it. So I have a bunch of LV left as a result.
Bought mine from Ryder Fleet Products. Best price I could find at the time for $3.91/qt.
Awesome find and thank you sir. One hell of a relief for me. I bought a case of LV a few months back then upon more searching I found other info that says it may have been a waste of money for me.
