Type F or Mercon/Dexron fluid?
I've got an old 83 Econoline 1/2 ton van, with 351 and automatic transmission.
The dipstick doesn't specify which fluid to use
I don't have any manuals to consult, and searching online has given me contradicting information.
I would very much appreciate any information on this matter.
