I visit that web site quite a bit.

Looks like it might be the "registered" trademark symbol that may be messing the link up?? You can get to it through the main site and clicking on the applicable tabs:

http://www.fcsdchemicalsandlubricants.com/Main/

The interesting thing that I had not noticed before (maybe it was not included in the past on this web site) is the statement to NOT use it where Mercon SP is recommended. I had heard differently - so this needs some investigation!

It is interesting to see that they state both lv and sp should not be used mixed in their uses and yet I have read many times that they can be, like LV in a 5r100, from the forums....

Same here but I haven't been there in half a year. It took a while to find it again.

Now my curiosity is building. I thought I read in the threads that the SP was going to completely go away and replaced by LV. My mind is now totally "boggled".

Thankfully I changed my tranny fluid before all this started, now have 28,000 miles to let everyone figure this out.

I thought so too... Auto zone and other stores are selling sp so that also got me thinking that SP was going away

Sure is confusing how they worded things in your first post!!

I don't think that I would mix the two though - just enough questions on these posts to concern me a little.

I agree, I think I will wait a while for other people to do this.

I have to change my trans fluid but I haven't found a place that is cheap.

Where at Steve? Fritts Ford in Riverside charged me 133 for SP hot flush. I can't do it for that.
