I had no doubt the new one would run, I'm really more interested in the postmortem on the old engine. Kwikk's had some tough luck with that pickup.

Clux, I agree, this truck has been a money pit.
Justin, the oil pan came off and nothing visually wrong, no pieces of piston or cooling jets.
The new engine is nice and quiet on decel, no mechanical knock knock knock knock.
I don't have the time to tear down the old one to find out the problem and it's getting sent back to Ed on Monday.
I just need to move on with life and get this past me.
Sort of like fixing a broken pipe in the crawlspace.
You can do it, but don't really want to have to.

Ed to are responsible for tearing the motor down! Truck has gave you alot of trouble dan but now atleast you know it will be RIGHT and reliable.
