2010 REMOTE START

Anyone know if this is going to be the same on the 2011 Ford remote starters? I have a F150 on order which comes with a remote start - with my previous Ford trucks I always put an aftermarket remote starter in which never had this "shut off on door open" issue. Sounds like a very dumb function and almost dangerous function for life here in the arctic.

for those with 2010, use the highlighted My-Key option settings in those files. you'll see the "shutdown on door open" option setting that needs to be switched off.

Steve VFX4, can you please send me the link for the single button remote start. I just purchased a 2010 with the door open shut down. Also do you know if there is an option to increase or decrease the run time after start... Please send the link to lykesbe@yahoo.com.....this forum is some much better off with folks like you as contributors.... Thank you in advance.
