Even a difference of 3 or 4 psi can make that light come on.

Might check your spare tire-that caused mine to come on and kept rechecking pressures till finally was told by coworker he had same problem

That's likely where your problem lies. The spare is monitored and the system is sensing that it is missing.

If you plug anything into the charger or USB port it seems to set them off. I just unplug my phone and it goes out

Interesting on the spare. I recently took my truck on a trip to Colorado (from Omaha), and about 300 miles into the trip, I got a tire pressure sensor fault. I stopped at the next exit and checked the pressure and they were all set to 1 PSI over the setting on the door. I didn't even think to check the spare. The strange thing was, this happened several times during the trip, always after I had been driving several hundred miles, and the strangest thing. It just shut itself back off. I haven't seen it go off again since I've been home.

I'll check the spare and see what that says. Is the fault message the same as the low pressure light?

I don't think the spare has a TPMS sensor.

Here is what's in the Owner's Manual:

Note: Each road tire is equipped
with a tire pressure sensor located
inside the tire and wheel assembly
cavity. The pressure sensor is
attached to the valve stem.
The pressure sensor is covered by
the tire and is not visible unless the
tire is removed. Take care when
changing the tire to avoid damaging
the sensor.

TPMS sensors run about $60. Discount Tire has a tool that will tell them if a sensor is bad.

Mine came on the other day. Aired everything up to 35, except spare, itwas wet out so I didn't crawl under or let the spare down. Light stilled stayed on for some time, and then went out, as I was going down the road. Still out.

On most Ford systems the light is not suppose to go out until you've driven a certain distance at 25+ mph with the tires at the proper pressures. So yours are working as designed.

I'm pretty sure there is no TPMS sensor in the spare. The truck will only read 4 sensors. That's what the owner's manual means by "road tire." There are 4 road tires and 1 spare.

I've had 2 flats thus far. Each time, as long as the flat road tire was with me, the system indicated a low tire. Once I left the tire for repair, the system would eventually indicate a fault, not low tire; that's because it could not locate 1 of my 4 road tires.
