Well it looks like the OT stuff has gone dead, so I thought I'd sneak in and see if any of you wanted to cast a vote for my wife Pinkstroker in the diesel picture voting thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...pionships.html

That 6 leaker fellow is getting votes form the 6.0 crowd and we could use a little help.

ehhhh money isn't all that important Travis.... lol But ya if this trip goes good then I might have to make this an every year get outta the house for a week or so deal kind of trip. As long as I can make one diesel event, and meet some of you to put face to name it will be worth it IMO

Chris- vote has been cast, and as of right now she is kickin' a$$ with 20 votes.

Well i wish we could find out if there was an event going down while your going to be in TX.. just no way to tell. would be nice to see you happen to make it down at the same time as the Texas Diesel Roundup or whatever they call it in October. that was a pretty big event last year and the Texas Diesel Nationals was big as well. might have to come during one of those next year(insert poking emoticon here)...

Ya, I would love to be able to come to something like that. But that time of the year is tuff for me to get away, it is the beginning of snow season so I am working on getting equipment ready for the snow and pricing lots with my dad so it is difficult to get time away from home that time of year. Not to mention that that is the time of year that I have spent all my plowing money for the season and am flat broke for fun money haha, but maybe I'll be able to work something out next year for that time period.

Talking JUST A LITTLE BS

I posted this in the Texas Chapter and thought about sharing the grin.

<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1 itxtvisited="1"><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Dear Abe

I hope you can help me here. The other day I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't gone more than a mile down the road when my engine conked out on my PSD and it shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help.

When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in the bedroom with a neighbors college daughter making wild passionate love to her.

They could not stop even with me there. I am 32, my husband is 34 and we have been married for twelve years. When I confronted him (later) , he broke down and admitted that he'd been having an sex with her for the past six months.
I told him to stop or I would leave him. He was let go from his job six months ago and he says he has been feeling increasingly depressed and worthless. I love him very much, but ever since I gave him the ultimatum he has become increasingly distant. I don't feel I can get through to him anymore.
Can you please help me.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Confused

---

Dear Mrs. Confused

I am so sorry to hear that you had this happen to you. Here is the best advice I can supply.

A PSD stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel filter or water for that mater. Check the fuel line pressure at the FPR. If the fuel filter was clear, unplug the MAP Sensor & the ICP. Then see if it runs. If none of these approaches solve the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors or the PCM or the IDM is shot. Check to see if the WTS light is flashing or there is a check engine light on.

And finally you need to tell your husband to---

buy a code scanner and check for codes and get them addressed by a professional.

Your PSD should be running in no time

Abe
