I can interpete that two ways. 1. You stay away from the hard stuff during the night (or day) or 2. The next day you don't stray from the beer so you keep on feeling good

hahaha Glenn...... both lol, nothing cures it like cracking open another one. And Bill I'm not lieing to anyone, I enjoy an adult beverage from time to time when the sun starts to go down even though I ain't supposed to. But I look at it like this, my parents legally drank at 18 and they turned out just fine so why the hel* shouldn't I be able to? Screw big brother, he can stay out of my life and I can worry about my own body lol. BUT we do have to worry about Travis over there cuz now he's the one blowin smoke, oh wait he has been for quite a while now hahaha all show and no GO lol. We all know there aren't any trucks up them sleeves, and hel* if there are they can't be that big cuz it don't get cold enough for long sleeve shirts in TX hahahaha.

Mines kinda scary sounding.
It sounds like metal on metal on the brakes, but light and soft sounding, cause of the aluminum.

but just think of the awesomeness travis, you still had an impressive dyno run on a broke truck. hahaha.
Guess you shoulda went with a 12 valve w/tuner.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What did I miss???? Who had a tuner on a 12v? I wanna see that one of a kind rig... lol

On a side note, if you go on PSN don't waste your time reading the tidewater engines thread it is interesting for about the first 1-3 pages and then it goes off into a wild tangent about stupid crap that should never have been brought up. Sorry for the rant they just pi$$ me off over there from time to time.

haha. we're talking about that dyno day i went to a little while back. this guy just couldn't get his 12v to make much power with tons of smoke and a 66mm turbo that never even spooled good b/c they didn't have 4k springs so the engine would run out of fuel at like 2800 RPM and his buddies were like, "He doesn't even have his tuner on it right now b/c he is scared it will blow his turbo" so i asked them, "Really? What kind of tuner did he have for it?" response, "He has a quadzilla for it, but he hasn't installed it yet." My response, "Why hasn't he installed it?" their response, "Do you see how much smoke it blows with just the injectors and stuff? the clutch thats in it will barely hold that much power, could you imagine what it would do with the tuner on it?" My response, " Yeah, i would imagine that it would make some serious power then. why doesn't he run it past 3k RPM???" their response, " the redline is only 3k rpm and the computer won't let it rev past that without the tuner"... My response, "You do know that if you put 4k governor springs in it then it will rev past 3k RPM?" their response, "What are governor springs?" My response, "the governor springs are part of the mechanical injection pump that limits the fuel output at higher RPMs. if you put in the 4k springs then it will allow the pump to fuel up to the 4k RPM limit." Their response, "why go through all that when we could just put the tuner on it?" My response, "that truck has a mechanical injection pump on it. that engine can't be controlled by a tuner." their response, "Well he said that his tuner will add 120hp" My response, "Well nobody makes a tuner for a 12v so y'all might want to point him towards injection pump mods instead of whatever tuner he might have..." after that i left. these guys didn't have a clue man. it was funny as hell.

Rich, i already read the whole tidewater thread. some of those guys over there just like to moan and groan about stuff and it annoys me. oh well though.

LMFAO! that is friggen great. Gotta love those huge power cummins.... it seems like it gets easier and easier for them to add power, first it was the C sticker for a good 250 horse... next thing they are gonna be telling us that if you sprinkle some water on it from time to time it will gain 475 horse over night lol. God forbid they got caught in a rain storm cuz their power would just go off the charts haha. Your buddies (or borther maybe?) got a pull truck thats a 12v right?

nah, my brothers pulling truck is a VP 24v. my stepdad has a basically stock regular cab 4x4 5 speed 12v dodge. it runs decent with the 8 plate, 6637, and exhaust. blew the turbo on stock injectors though???

hahahaha that is awsome. I've got a stock 12v in my ramp truck that I would like to get some more power out of but I can't afford to blow parts up. So I'll wait to fix the KDP and then do a fuel plate and then maybe an HX40 or so. But I don't know.

why waste the money on the 12v when you could mod the PSD??? all i'd do is get the KDP fixed and wait for the next problem to occur and hope the next problem isn't the fuel shut off solenoid or the wiring harness. stepdad's had both those problems. both are now rigged to work b/c even after replacing all sorts of stuff the fuel shut off solenoid still won't return when you turn the key on and the crank sensor still blows and the RPM guage doesn't work, but got it running by putting an external voltage regulator on it so it will charge the batteries w/ out the use of the crank sensor so he now has no Tach, but it runs again after 2 years of trying to diagnose that wiring issue and failed..

Ya the trucks a Ford F800 so hopefully we don't have any of the dodge problems. And I want to add a little power to it cuz when I have it loaded real heavy with snow equipment the hills kill it, so a good 75-100 horse it would be in a nice position. And I don't plan on doin much to the bottom end on the new truck until this winter, so I'm hoping to get into the mid 13's for this year and then work from there. I might have to use my ace up the sleeve and risk blowin her sky high.... but it may be worth it hahaha. I'm still undecided if it will come with me but it is a serious thought as of right now, gonna pull it in this weekend and start tearin into it and gutting some parts to clean up some room. I'm excited about this new project so we'll see how it goes.
