i used those stupid latitudes once.... crapped out after like 4 or 5 months.. went with some cheap azz ones last time. they work just as good as those ghey latitudes did right now. see how long they last though. haha. next time i'm gonna try those michelin ones.
I've used this set for just over a year now and I've also got them on my tow truck and those have been there for almost two years and both of them work awsome. You could have just gotten a defective set, they are the most kick as* wipers out there and the Bosch ones are not even close to as good. I haven't tried the michellin ones yet, but I doubt they are as good.
I haven't started tearing into the motor yet so it's hard to tell, I am trying to get all of the free/cheap stuff done now. I'm gonna pull the fenders off tomorrow and gut all the crap in the motor compartment so that I have good access to everything, then I'll load it up on the ramp truck and bring it down to the car wash for a good hose down. Then the fun will begin, pull the VC off and see how she's doing under there and I want to check the GP's cuz its a little difficult to start cold and I don't know if it's GP related or HPO related. Do you know if they make a GP delete kit for these, cuz cold starts are not going to matter at all for this truck and I'd like to remove as much clutter as possible from the motor compartment, and even if I have to start it up cold I can then safely hit it with some ether.

They make dummy plugs, yes.. oh wait, here is an idea... why not just put a glow plug in the GP hole, but just remove the wires??? wahhlaaaa no more cluttered up wiring.. hehehehe i think dummy plugs are like $125
Yaaaaa...... I was just going to leave Taylan's comment alone LMFAO!
And I thought about just leaving some plugs in it after the fact, but I also dont want something else that could break off and eff up my motor cuz that would be my luck lol.

they usually break off b/c the tips get swollen in the cylinder and can't get out of the threads i think.. could always pull 'em, anti seize 'em, put them back in and torque them down and forget about it. haha
I thought that ether made them brittle and there for made them break off over time. And if I wasn't running GP's then I would be ether starting it in cooler weather.

that may be true too. i'm really not sure on that one. why not just run the GP's and not shoot it up with ether?? i mean i know you want to get some of the clutter out, but stillz.. i guess if you really want the GP system gone you could just buy the dummy plugs for it. trying to remember who sells the dummy plugs now.... i know wipe out enterprises has them, but don't remember seeing them anywhere else..
Ya, idk I'm still just tossing up idea's in my head on this project. Hel* I will probably end up keeping the system and moving it around or somethign like that haha.
Ya, I'm almost starting to get a little worried about him. It's been like months since he's been on here. Does anyone have his number, give him a ring to make sure everything is ok?
