P1211 where the scan gauge was going from 1,500 to 3,000 back and forth at 70mph pulling 15K 5er????????

i would think possibly the ICP sensor is screwed off. how what it effecting the truck??? was it missing pretty bad? did you unplug the ICP to see if you can make it do it again? maybe the IPR is having issues?? trying to remember the 1211 code. think it's ICP out of control low?? i will go check..................... Nope i was wrong, it's ICP uncontrollable - pressure above/below desired. i don't know what to think about that code.....

Rich, did some running around and very close listening today. it sounds like i may need to go ahead and stuff my other heads on the truck sooner than i thought or get a new turbo pretty soon so checking the turbo this weekend and possibly a compression check in order too. i have a high pitched sound coming from the exhaust that sounds like the valves clanking or the turbine wheel slapping the housing under light throttle. once i get into lower RPM i get a constant whistle from the turbo and the sound goes away. hmmmmm... may need to go get a loan too... haven't even paid off the other one yet!!!!

Travis, No, I can't get it to do it again. After I reset the code I drove home 100 miles with the 5er and ICP's pressures were all over the place but it didn't set another code. The pressures look fine driving around town but I have another new ICP that I'm going to put in, when the engine cools, hot hot, lol. The IPR was cleaned and new gaskets put on when I put my adrenaline in, six eight months ago. How you feeling today Rich??

Oh, I forgot, do you have play in your turbo? I don't see how your values could make that noise? I hope you get it figured out, are you referring to that green slippery stuff that a guy just can't hang onto no matter how hard you squeeze?

hahaha ya I felt fine today, luckily I usually don't get to "sick" the next day as long as I don't stray from beer. And Travis, just add say 7,500 onto the top of your loan and send me a check.... then I'll beat you for sure hahaha. I wonder how hard it would be to get a loan for vehicle repairs.
