Ya, luckily i think that my gf would actually like that one haha. But one stick that i dont care if she likes or not that i hope to get would be that Death Row Diesel sticker. Would really set the attitude of the front of the truck haha. I should really send Cody a PM one of these days and talk to him about that.
I hope you guys dont mind, but I wanted to post some pics of my truck. Because quite frankly, ive been trying to forget it has the 5.8 and not the 7.3 since the day I got it.
Thats all the pics I could find. Once again, I know its a gas. So i hope you guys dont mind. I really do wish it was a diesel.
i got the clear lights from BlueMule on here, but you can get them on ebay all day long and they are good lights too.
the sticker.. haha. i went down and got that sticker made b/c i saw it one time a few years ago on the interweb somewhere. couldn't find a place to buy one so i got it made. haha. my girlfriends parents do not like it even a little bit, but i'm not going to take it off quite yet. haha
bad351, nice looking truck. i have one that had a 4.9L in it, but i'm swapping it to a 5.0. its no 351, but it will be much badder than a stock 351. remember, you can mod anything. so i'm saying either mod that 351 or i have 2 words for you... ENGINE SWAP!!!!!!
HAHA! My first vehicle was my Mercedes 300 Turbo Diesel. Then i bought my 1992 Flareside with a blown 5.0...put a new motor in it. Then decided id have it for a while why not restore it. Ha well years later and 9,000 later wished i had a Powerstroke. Now i have one and i dont feel like doing anything to it.
I love that big slow churner 4.9. It's my first choice in gassers. My old F150 I left with my folks when I moved and their new old bronco both have it.

That 300 I6 (4.9) was no power house, but it sure was one heck of an engine. It could take the abuse day in and day out. Back in highschool I got a speeding ticket in my 66 mustang, so my dad made me drive an old 68 f100 with the I6 in it. We called it "old blue". My buddies and I would take that out in the hills after school and just beat the living daylights out of it. Never gave any problems though. Heck the truck finaly gave out then my dad put the engine in a mid 80s truck he had, drove that thing till something went wrong then brought the whole thing to the wrecking yard. Engine was still running. To be honest I miss that old truck. I would get to school, take 3-4 minutes to walk to the front door, stand there till I heard a KAAABBOOOOOMMMM!!!. Then walk on in. Every body knew when I showed up, it would back fire everyday about 3-5 minutes after it was shut off.
It was probably the longest running engine Ford produced other than the 460....maybe? Started in the early 60s didnt and ran till 97. the 302 didnt come in till 67 till 02 I think. So it was probably actually the 302 ford had the longest now that i think about it.
line x is not as rubbery as rhino liner so it doesn't absorb impact or hold things in the bed near as well. i like rhino liner a lot better than line x. just me tho
I like the texture of it better, but it fades... not a fan of that... my last truck had a black rhino line in it and I loved the texture but not the color... it was more of a grey after a few years of sun...
