Woke up this morning at 3 to start plowing for the day (second day in a row). It was 15 degrees and 50 plus MPH winds with 6" of snow on the ground. Had about a 5' drift on the road that goes through my 10 acre field. That was the longest I have ever plowed 6" of snow. Plowed about 8 hours yesterday and 10 today. Usually my route would take about 10 hours for 6"
Here on the Va coast, it's hovering in the low 30's right now with a low tonight in the low 20's. A possibility of snow by Thursday night and Friday. Not much fun to carry mail in with the wind a howling.
Well, last week it snowed a couple of feet ~ now it's rained for three days!!! The ditches are full of snow ~ so there's no where for the water to go ~ so everythings' flooded!!!
Last week my yard was the perfect ice skating rink ~ today you need a row boat!!! Go figure!!!
