I watched it with a beer (or two) in hand. Don't really care much about the outcomes since my team didn't make the playoffs. But I must say, I really enjoy watching Peyton work.
Oh yeah! I used to literally LIVE out there. That's where my first run with Ford Freak was around 10 years ago - mentioned a few pages back in this thread. I've only been out there once or twice in the past year though. Too much else to do. I'll post up any good pics if I get any - along with some nice flex pics I took in the Porko in Oct.
If you ever head out there again hit me up. I live right off Southern. And any excuse to take a trip off road is a good one. I don't have a truck built for serious off roading but it's handled anything I've given it out there so far.
I'll let you know Devil Dog! We had great weather up there yesterday. And great views of Lost Alamos and the Sangre De Cristos. It was easy except for one short rocky section. Pics are still in the camera. I was lazy today.
Hello all,
Sorry, haven't posted for awhile - I am still here. Well, this past weekend I sold the 1978 F100 and will be picking up its replacement this Sat. I don't have any pics of it yet but will post after I pick up the truck. It is my grandparents truck. They bought it back in 1995 - It is a 1993 F150 XLT Supercab 4x4 shortbed. The red and white edition. So they have owned it since 1995 and I think it has somewhere between 50,000 to 80,000 miles. Can't wait to pick it up (5 days and counting).
Thanks, quarkdude

Nice! I think I know around abouts where the place is you might be going. Have you been to the west of Rio Rancho yet? Lots of Sand dunes and trails between Southern and Northern.
That's the Rio Puerco. I haven't been out there in a while. Last I was, I went with my X's cousin in his RAZR. Those things make me want to swear off Jeeps/Broncos/Trucks as off road toys. Extremely capable off the show room floor and for a fraction of the cost.
Quarkdude, should have kept the 78. But, congrats on getting another truck.
Hello F0rdfre@k,
Well, the '78 didn't have any power assist - getting older here, Haha. The '93 has full power everything which will be easier on me. I will miss the old metal. I do, however have the other toy which I have taken out to the Rio Puerco. I also have a 2002 Jeep TJ wrangler Rock crawler. The Puerco is very fun for off road vehicles for sure but they are starting to give citations to people going out there now. Apperently Rio Rancho is going to build a water treatment plant out there I hear and it is just messing up the access to the "PLayground".
4 days left until picking up the '93 f150 - Whoo, hooo.
