Lucky dog. We had those temps yesterday but its only going to get into the 40s today. I'm going to try to get some more accomplished on the '71, but that will be it as the weather is here is not going to be above freezing much for the next week or so.
Sorry to hear that maybe you should bring everything down here for a while Next week temps are getting up to the high 60's and low 70's. I will be waxing my truck then. Well if I get her back next week.
There's days that I've been tempted to pack it in and head back to NM, but those are few and far between at the moment. The older I get, the more I think about retiring out there.
I am way overdue for a visit, but I haven't had enough justification or money to head that way.
Yea out that way is very beautiful scenery. I flew to NY summertime and drove back it was a change in view compared to all the mesquites, sand, and dust I'm used to seeing out here. I do however like winter here the days don't always tend to be cold. But summer is brutal almost 90+ all summer.
Morning Gerry, Don't worry soon enough I will be complaining about the 95*F + heat that we will be getting in a couple more months while you will be in nice temps. But for now stay warm.
And the worst is only coming for me.... Summertime kills me around here. I typically try to work at night or real early in the morning. Because as soon as 9am comes around the temps will already be in the 90's with a blaring hot sun. Just the thought makes me wish winter here lasted longer.
Yea it is pretty crazy. As far as coming to visit I have some suggestions of just where you can go down here in the state of NM. If you want to know just ask me and I'm willing to tell you when is the best time to be around.
I have yet to experience a NM summer. I don't really think I'm looking forward to it. However, I'm used to 90+ with 70% humidity....which is down right awful. At least here there is no humidity (so I've been told) so when you hide in the shade you feel a difference.
Yes, but it also helps that your in the northern part of the state it gets hot but won't be near as long as down here where I am. I mean heck today a high of a 65*F and Thursday a high of about 73*F in the middle of winter....... By the end of March these temps will be higher than that.
