I'm trying to get the NM members to post more by just being active on the board myself. (Even if I feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes). I'd like to see us be a more active chapter if for no other reason than to chat with local people.
Yeah, that used to be my job. I was always trying to get people to be active in NM for YEARS. I even had my own forum for a while dedicated to New Mexico Early Broncos. I think I got up to 35-40 users (not all Bronco owners) but, posts would trickle in less then they do here. But, since your around trying... Maybe I'll drop in more often...
Hey there, Eddie. Do you still have that black truck? A guy I know has a pickup that looks EXACTLY like yours. I asked him where he got it. It came from a car lot so he doesn't know the PO.
What's up? No, I don't have my 08 F350 no more. Repo man got it when I moved back from CA. Spent nearly 2.5 years between crappy jobs and couldn't afford the $800.00/month payment or the $1600/month to own/insure/drive it no more. So, I had to turn it in. You didn't see it when I had it last... In all her glory... 8" lift, 38" tires and all. She was freaking BAD ***!!!
Since I lost that truck, I had an 04 Mustang Convertible for a while. Traded that for a 94 Full Size Bronco I had for a year and a half. I traded that to a guy on a HORRIBLE Deal on a 2000 F250 V10 4x4. Lost over $7K on that deal. Just yesterday, I rectified that situation and bought another 05 F150 X-Cab Lariat 4x4. So, I'm happy to be back in a truck.

Sounds like she was a beautiful truck. Any plans on the F150? I'd love to lift mine but right now it's a family rig so I can't jack it up too much. Too many plans and not enough $$ to make it what I want it to be.

She was... Had a Viper Alarm w/ 1 mile range remote start. 5% tinted windows, black tool box, CB w/ cab mounted Antenna and PA in it. I also did a full blown air horn set up w/ compressor, tank and all...
As for the 150 I now have, I'll level it out and get some 34" BFG ATs on it a.s.a.p. But, not until I actually NEED the tires. Later on, I'll do a 6" lift and 35s or 37s. Eventually it'll be a full blown expedition type rig.
Sorry you lost your truck, Eddie. It was a nice one, except for that ridiculous gangsta rap music it played! Haha! The pickup is pretty much still the same as the last time you saw it when I towed one of your EBs. I just got new rubber last month. $1001 out the door for 285 E ATs. Borrowed $1000 interest free for 9 mos. Paid a buck and out the door. It still runs great and serves its purpose when I haul Clyde to CO or UT for runs.
I took the original 2.9L out of the Bronco II and swapped in a 4L from an Explorer. Did it all myself. 50% power increase. Runs awesome now. 5th gear has a broken synchro but you don't need 5th to rock crawl.
Here's Bonnie & Clyde in front of the Gunsmoke store in Denver on a wheeling trip last year.
Here are a few recent Puerco shots. 35 MTRs are 2 1/2 years old with not much wear yet.
