FordFre@k not much happens quickly around here. In the few moths I've lived here I've learned that New Mexico lives on what I call "manana time"...meaning, they'll get to it eventually...maybe.

Yeah, I remember when you announced when you were moving this direction. I, unfortunately, have been stuck here (off and on) since 1984. I don't stop by on this part of FTE much anymore since it's RARELY EVER active with NM members. Good to see you posting. See Powerstroker posted recently too. LOL!!
Hey there, Eddie. Do you still have that black truck? A guy I know has a pickup that looks EXACTLY like yours. I asked him where he got it. It came from a car lot so he doesn't know the PO.
I don't consider living here to be "stuck." Not by a longshot. Best place I've ever lived. I might like places in UT or ID better but I'll take it for now. New job, more money - stuff looks pretty good.
So far it's growing on me. I like that I can drive to the end of Southern and have some nice off-roading. However, that makes me miss my Jeep more than anything but I do enjoy taking the truck on some of the trails.
We should meet up sometime. I'm always up for meeting forum members, especially ones in the area.
We can do that. I've only been to the Puerco once this year. The "new" Explorer 4L I threw in the BII runs great. That was a fun swap to do. Everything bolted right up, except for some mods to the mounts so I could install the engine 1 1/2in forward of stock location. 10 or 11 wires to splice and it's done! I've only had it out once in the Puerco since I wheeled the San Rafael Swell in May.
Glad to hear you got the truck started today. It'll be even colder next few days.

I'm trying to get the NM members to post more by just being active on the board myself. (Even if I feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes). I'd like to see us be a more active chapter if for no other reason than to chat with local people.

The truck only started once. I think my fuel pump control module is hosed. But I wont know until tomorrow when I drop the spare and look at it. I have a feeling that the cold weather isn't helping my not starting issues.
Evening New Mexico. Is everyone prepping for the Christmas holiday? I've got most of the shopping done for my family. This truly is a first. I'm usually the one running around on Dec 23 and 24th trying to pick up last minute gifts.
