I'll drop you a line next week when I get back to werk.

I was an 8M for three years/two assignments: I did two yrs at Mildenhall, and a year at HQ 9 AF in Bahrain. Got my chance to go to Iraq while I was in England. I enjoyed it! I'll explain the assignment process for AMS sometime. If anything I got lucky by getting an assignment!

Sorry Fellas, no updates. I just returned from a deployment a few days ago, so the truck has been sitting in storage. I'll keep you all posted when I do get time to start working on it again.

I know this is an old thread, but wondering if you still have the truck and if you have had a chance to work on it anymore?

I see the grille swap & had a little to throw into the mix. The bump guys (some) have used dent hoods on the trucks. The bump grille might work in the dent with minor work. If it be something someone might prefer.

I just happened upon this post while looking for front lowering spring info for my '71. While i'm not an advocate for big aftermarket wheels, everything this guy has done looks fantastic! This thread reads like a story line from a movie. Hope you don't sell it, man!
