Thats what I had done. I actually bought my front rotors from a nloc.net member redrilled to 5x4.5 and I ordered my Moser axles with both patterns and I redrilled the drums myself. That way if and when you do the suspension swap your wheels will bolt right on and you could easily sell the rotors to a member here. I just have 15x5 and 15x10 Welds but the wheel choice is endless.
So I started doing a little bit to the truck today. Nothing to exciting, just taking care of some surface rust. I had plans to get the entire truck primed in the next month, but I am sad to say progress, once again, will be coming to a stop. Going to be going back overseas soon, so the truck will be going back into storage. Going to get the surface rust taken care of this week, but by Thursday the truck will be sitting in storage....
I wish I had that truck but it's on the wrong coast!
PCS...Ha, I wish...Another deployment....
I dont really want to sale the truck, but with everything going on it keeps sitting. With everything going on, I am not sure when I will have time to work on it.
Use the deployment munnys to store it. DON'T sell it, you are light years ahead in your work!
There's always retirement, and dwell time
I highly doubt I'll ever sale it. I was frustrated when I posted that...I put the truck in storage today, so it is out of sight/mind for now. I promise you guys that this truck will be nice when I can get to it!
Thanks, but it is far from one color. The passenger side looks the best. I have three colors of primer on the plus the original green. Not the prettiest thing to look at right now.
Well, one colour-ish! It really shows how great it will look smoothed out and with the gutters removed. Gives me some motivation to finally get back to work on mine. Cheers!
Oh, and let me know when you get to your destination. I'll send you a box or two
I was a deployed postal clerk for 3 yrs; I know how important goodies can be!
