wiper delays

I want to change the wipers in my 79 to delay, Has anybody used the kit from jeff's bronco? It seems easy just swap the box and switch in.

I got a stupid question but what is wiper delay? is it just when you hit the switch it takes a second or two for the wipers to start going or what?

I got a wiper delay for my 79 and 70 for about 25 bucks apiece off ebay the 79 just plugged in way to easy

the other question is a wiper delay is the ability for the wiper to wipe then there is a pause before it wipes again. the delay is variable

Intermitting wipers just like late model cars have you turn the switch to the right one click and they work on low speed, one more to the right high speed, just like they do now but, go back to off and turn it to the left and depending on how far you turn the switch they wipe then delay that much.

NO question is stupid, asking is how you learn.

This is an upgrade I can see in my future real soon. I try not to drive mine in the foul weather if I can help it. But it is just one of those nice upgrades to do, just like the courtsey lights under the dash, glove box light, or ash tray light.

Just great additions to make your truck that much cooler!
