I may need snow chains.

Well, looks like we will be getting SNOW later today and tonight. . I don't remember the last time snow stayed on the ground here. They are closing the schools and have chemical trucks at the foot of the bridges around here. This will be a train wreck around here if we get snow and ice on the roads. Things are going crazy around here with about 1" of SNOW expected. Guess I will be looking for a snow mobile to get around, with all the snow that we will get. The news are telling everyone to stay off the roads and enjoy the snow while it is here. . Looks like I may be closing the store early today, once the snow start bringing everyone to a stop.

Is there anything special I need to get to be ready for 1" of snow???

ha ha - you'll be fine. Throw a couple hundred pound sacks of sand the back of your bed. Enjoy the acoustic silence snow brings.

Gawd I hope you're kidding Rick. 1" of snow will shut that place down???? That's freakin' awesome! I've got a couple inches right now at the house and they're calling for another 6-8" tonight and tomorrow. And the temps don't sound like they're going to be getting high enough anytime soon to melt the crap off!

If I were you, I'd be out doing whatever you want, cause you'll have the roads/town to yourself!

Enjoy it while it's there. If you ever think you want more of it, you and the family are always welcome to come visit for a while up here.

Hey, 1" of snow is going to be about the most snow we ever got down here. lol. Yes they are starting to close lots of things around here. The snow is in Houston right now, so it should be here in a few hours. Last time we had snow and ice here, there were more wrecks then you guys up north would believe. The news is telling people how to drive in the snow and ice as I type this.

One inch????? You might have to throw it in 4WD, chain up and keep your speed down to about 25mph. LOL.

Every snowfall here claims the lives of multiple Californians.

Southerners can't even drive in heavy rain, let alone snow!! LMAO!! I grew up in FL, but I was born in PA, and was there for 10 winters. I remember lake effect snow over the first story windows. LOL

We're just cold up here, Rick. Nothing wet a all, and I'm dang glad I got out of Beaumont yesterday!

It's cold and wet here. Beaumount will have snow soon. Give me mud and I can drive all day, snow makes people go too fast on the roads, then end up in the ditches. I may drive around with my straps to make a little cash. lol
