Make sure the small black wire with a green stripe has a good connection to the NEG (-) post of the battery.
Make sure the NEG battery cable has a good connection to the engine block (not the frame).
Make sure there is a good ground from the NEG post of the battery to the body with a #10 or larger wire (stock is a black wire with a white stripe).
Check the ground from the engine to the firewall.
