code reader diagnostic scanner
anybody using scanners for codes on their trucks. i did a search and found actron and equus scanners. who is using scanners and what brand. are you happy with it or not. i don't have a code but would like to have 1 just in case i need it. maybe i have codes but its not showing up on the dash board light. where did you get it from.

I like the Equus Innova 3145, because it has a digital display readout. I think its available at Orielly Auto. I'm not sure which Actron one your looking at. If it has a digital readout then I'm sure it will be fine. The ones that make you interpret a flashing red light sequence are a pain to use.

That's the one I have. Does what it's supposed to, and has a great manual.
